Leaving from Carcassonne, it hardly takes 10 minutes to find yourself in the pastoral sweets of the "Château de Floure". Started life as a Roman Villa on the Via Aquitania between Narbonne and Toulouse. The original character of this magical site was preserved when it was restored and converted with many refinements. Friendly atmosphere and feast for the eyes in the restaurant "le Poète disparu", where you will enjoy a gastronomic cooking made by Christophe Poirier and admire marvellous wood works and statuettes of the 17th century. The most romantics will, no doubt succumb to the temptation of a reading pause in the "Bergere" drawing-room, decorated with painting realised by the Vicomte de Laguepie in 1762.
